Sometimes I feel like I have to book my own captain 😉 And so I did 🙂 Ryan, busy with boat tours all summer long, took me finally out on a ride! I got to relax on our little bark, had some sun-bath or were hiding under the canopy shade. So many options on such little space. 🙂 In any way I was enjoying the wind and our tour towards … Stiniva bay. But not that particular most popular beach in all Dalmatia was our real destination but one bay before and one behind it. Means: we looked at Molo Travna and Molo Smircevica! As we stopped in the first mentioned bay we jumped of the boat and looked at a restaurant which was supposed to be open there, but was somehow closed…? A lot of boats, some cars and even a new erected, modern building were quiet repelling to us and so we moved on, passing Stiniva bay, where we just dared a quick look from the distance at the crowd-drama. And so we got to the latter bay, Smircevica. Peace!! There we went swimming, had some snacks and Uno on the boat – you have to find your niches. 🙂

On July 4th our little American community could luckily come together for a joint tour! We got to enjoy one more boat ride this week, this time with the Taylor’s on their faster raft. And so Ryan and me finally got to see the little bay named Pritiscina, which is too far away for our little engine! And when you get there by car from inland you just can swim or hike in. It is a very narrow bay with a tiny beach – and it is meanwhile also very popular! Something to see here besides Stiniva bay, the blue and green cave or the blue lagoon – Pritiscina obviously got added to the list of “must visit”‘s on Vis… We happend to get there in the late afternoon with just a couple of other couples – and so we enjoyed almost peacefully a funny Independence Day snack. A little picknick to remember, not only through pictures 😉
