And then all sudden there was an option! Not only that the UK opened again but one wave-pool as well. Bristol was calling and my surfing husband wanted to follow. Due to “Corona” we had several trips cancelled and several vouchers piled up. So is there now a real chance?
We booked a flight, we left Croatia, we landed in Bristol and we moved into a pretty airbnb. After falling in love with Wales last year I had certain expectations from England. It was kinda cute as well, but traffic, harbor industry and busyness everywhere made me act restrained – and not that keen on sightseeing.
But the waves! The wavegarden offered different wave sizes for different degrees of severity. My Surfer enjoyed that five days in a row and I just relaxed on the premises. They had yummy food, the sun was often shining, I had wifi from time to time – what funny vacation. 😉
